SAFETY POLICY
NAZERA INTEGRATED SERVICES LIMITED recognizes the hazardous nature of its operations both oil
and non oil related and the adverse consequences of its failure to observe, check and control or
Completely eliminate the acts and conditions that could result in accidents or incidents.
The Management of NAZERA ranks supreme the safety of its personnel, the client personnel and any other person who may be directly or indirectly involved in its operations. The Management recognizes that a safe work place is a combination of several factors involving the interplay of personnel, material, and equipment. Based upon this recognition, the Management shall ensure:
- That suitable and adequate personnel, material and equipment is available for its operations
- That staff receive adequate safety training
- That safety meeting, including toolbox talks is held regularly on all sites
- That safety audits are regularly conducted to ensure compliance to safety standards, rules and regulations.
NAZERA Management shall demonstrate these in all her operations and shall be responsible for a safe work place, free from foreseeable risks and hazards.
ALCOHOL AND DRUG POLICY
It is a termination offence for any employee of NAZERA INTEGRATED SERVICES LIMITED, to be under the influence of alcohol, or in possession of or under the influence of any non- prescribed drug, such as cocaine amphetamine (Speed), Marijuana, Heroin, Hashish, or other illegal, or controlled substance, while working or residing on any job site, including all waterborne operations, or property under the control of NAZERA INTEGRATED SERVICES LIMITED. This rule applies to all operations and all locations.
SECURITY POLICY
In order to ensure an adequate provision for the security of personnel, equipment and material in all our operations, NAZERA INTEGRATED SERVICES LIMITED maintains a combined team of locally trained security guards and resident Naval force. This security provision is not limited to project sites alone but is also extended to all equipment, personnel and materials in transit. Independent security training shall be organized from time to time to update the workers on security measures. Adequate security devices shall be provided in Vessel / equipment. All security defaults shall be reported, investigated and action taken to prevent reoccurrence.
SEAT BELT POLICY
In order to minimize Road Transport Accident (RTA) /Marine Transport Accident (MTA) and in
keeping with the company’s Journey Management procedure, it is binding on all employees of
NAZERA INTEGRATED SERVICES LIMITED to make use of his/her SEAT BELT when in transit.
Repeated violations of this policy will attract strict management wrath.
SMOKING POLICY
Smoking is not only injurious to health but also a potential safety hazard. Smoking in public places
exposes non-smokers to health-related hazards and it is the duty of NAZERA INTEGRATED
SERVICES LIMITED to protect employees from unnecessary exposure to hazards
NAZERA INTEGRATED SERVICES LIMITED POLICY ON SMOKING
The smoking of cigarettes or pipes is prohibited at all oil installation or sites. This ban also

Vehicles and Vessel / equipment s unless otherwise agreed between all occupants of such
Enclosure.
HSE AUDIT POLICY
Due to the sophistication of all our equipment, work tools, nature of operations coupled With man’s imperfection, Unsafe Acts and Conditions are inevitable. These Acts and Conditions if not observed, checked and controlled or completely eliminated can result in Accidents.
NAZERA INTEGRATED SERVICES LIMITED recognizes this fact and therefore has it as a Policy to carry out frequent HSES Audit at all its work sites and operations.
All front line supervisors are mandated to carry out site HSE audits regularly, make reports and forward same to the HSE Committee who reviews the reports and follow up to ensure Corrective measures are implemented in good time.
The HSE Management Committee ensures that training on HSE Audit, Management and Technical Safety Audits are carried out. Reports are completed, recommendations made, Followed-up, ensuring compliance and closed out.
It is the responsibility of all the work force to carry out HSE Audit both in and outside their
Department’s area of operation and report to the site HSE Officer or their immediate Supervisors.
Repeated violation Audit recommendations will be discouraged and positive attitudes towards Safety rewarded.
This policy shall apply to all work forces and all is required to read, understand and abide
by this policy.
